
Tiffany Wilson is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and a National Certified Counselor. In her counseling experience, she has provided direct services comprised of individual and group counseling and psycho-educational classes. Additionally, she has attended and presented at several professional counseling conferences, participated in workshops, and coordinated programs focused on various mental health topics.
When working with clients, Mrs. Wilson believes the therapeutic process includes the client’s active involvement with intentional effort to change negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Though this process can be challenging, personal growth can be achieved with strong commitment and hard work.
Mrs. Wilson works with individuals from diverse backgrounds and demonstrates acceptance, objectivity, and respect to every client. She sees adolescents, adults, couples, and facilitates psycho-educational groups on various topics. With a belief that the counseling process should be tailored to the unique individual, couple, or group, she incorporates an eclectic theoretical approach utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, reality therapy, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy.
As a realistic and interactive counselor, Mrs. Wilson provides support and sensible feedback to help her clients achieve personal growth, develop productive coping skills, and attain positive life changes.
